It Started With a Horse Named Mo...

Mo arrived agitated, thin, and anxious. Meridith knew something was wrong. She tried everything. Chiropractic. Saddle fit. Omeprazole. The best supplements money could buy. Nothing stuck.

That's when Amy got involved. Amy has a biochemistry degree. Meridith has decades of horse experience. Together, they dug into the science and built a formula from the ground up.

Mo grew a show-worthy coat. Gained weight. The personality problems? Almost completely gone. They tested it across the whole barn — same results, every time.

They never planned to sell it. But they couldn't keep it to themselves.

Four Ingredients. One Complete Gut Protocol.

Every ingredient in the Equine Belly Balancer was chosen for a specific reason. It's a formula built ingredient by ingredient, backed by science, tested in a real barn.

  • Papaya

    Break it down.

Papaya contains two active digestive enzymes — papain and chymopapain — that physically help break down food and improve nutrient absorption. It's also rich in Vitamins A, C, and E, and has natural anti-inflammatory properties that support a healthier gut environment. Horses love the taste, which means they actually eat it.

  • Slippery Elm Bark

    Coat and protect.

Slippery elm contains mucilage — a gel-like substance that coats the lining of the entire GI tract when ingested. Think of it as a physical barrier between the stomach lining and acid. It soothes irritation,
aids ulcer healing, helps prevent impaction, and encourages horses to eat during stress or illness.

  • Aloe Vera

    Soothe and heal.

Aloe vera doesn't just protect — it actively repairs. It promotes tissue healing in the gut lining, which is critical for horses recovering from gastric ulcers or chronic irritation. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties reduce ongoing damage and support overall immune function through the gut.

  • Ginger

    Calm and settle.

Ginger is the stress ingredient. It relieves gas and bloating, reduces nausea (especially during transport), may lower stomach acid secretion, and promotes the protective mucus layer in the stomach lining. For horses that tighten up on the trailer, at shows, or in new environments — ginger is doing the work.

*Note: Ginger is replaced with sodium bicarbonate in the Maintenance Formula for horses subject to association/competition restrictions.*

  • Equine Belly Balancer (The OG) - $49

For: Any horse dealing with gut issues, ulcer
symptoms, behavioral changes, weight loss, poor coat, or digestive sensitivity.

When to use: Daily gut support. Starting point for horses who are "off," horses coming off omeprazole, or horses going
into a stressful season (show season, new barn, increased training).

Ingredients: Papaya · Slippery Elm Bark · Aloe Vera · Ginger

Ginger is a key active ingredient — it settles the gut during stress, reduces nausea on the trailer, and may help lower stomach acid. It's the most powerful formula for horses that need real results fast.

  • Equine Belly Balancer Maintenance Formula - $39

For: Competition horses and show horses whose associations prohibit ginger. Also ideal for horses who have stabilized on the standard formula and are maintaining gut health through show season.

When to use: Ongoing daily support for horses in active competition. The natural transition once your horse is balanced and you want to keep them that way.

Ingredients: Papaya · Slippery Elm Bark · Aloe Vera · Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate replaces ginger as a natural acid buffer — directly neutralizing excess stomach acid and supporting a balanced gut pH. No ginger, no compliance issues.

We're Horse People, Not a Supplement Company.

Meridith has owned horses for decades. She's mucked the stalls, braided the manes, hauled the trailers, and sat with horses through the nights when something wasn't right. She's tried every protocol, every supplement, every fix.

Amy has a biochemistry degree and a deep respect for horses — even if her own farm runs on chickens and dogs. She's spent enough time in Meridith's barn to know these animals, and enough time in the science to understand why they struggle.

FarmGalz wasn't born in a lab or a boardroom. It was born in a barn, out of frustration, out of love for a horse named Mo who deserved to feel better.

We made this formula because we needed it and it didn't exist. We're sharing it because your horse deserves to feel better too.

Love, love, love this product! I got a new horse that was imported from Brazil. He was having a hard time settling in and was acting quite spooky. It was definitely out of his character so I thought maybe with quarantine and all the changes he had been through his stomach might be the issue. I put him on FarmGalz supplement and in a week he was much better. After two weeks he was acting normal and the spookiness went away. He will remain on the maintenance product and I have no plans to take him off of it!
